This data was very helpful as i have to do a poetry assesment at school. Odes handle a selected person, factor, or event. The ode is believed to have been invented by the traditional Greeks, who would sing their odes. Modern odes observe an irregular pattern and are not required to rhyme.

In its oral kind, it establishes a relationship between a speaker and a listener; in its written kind, it establishes a relationship between a author and a reader.
